Why do I need a web site ?

We find that the public does still not fully trust the Internet for purchasing on-line, however they do their research on-line and then purchase by mail order. So your web site is a shop window for your business and products.

In todays competitive market a web site or Internet presence is a must to survive - just see how many adverts in Horse and Hound have a web site (the majority).
The web will not replace good old fashion face to face sales nor catalogue / mail order options, however is important and will go hand in hand with the traditional methods (remember the first mobile phones, look now everyone has one - thats how the web will go too).

Our experience

In our experience, from many years in large commercial organisations and running large Web sites (in particular recently with the Natural health site ThinkNatural. We havd found that where you sell a service or physical product, your web site can account for up to 40% of your Sales leads.
In the case of companies like LastMinute.com and other non-stock setups (e.g. airline tickets) your can sell 100% on the web and many companies do.

We feel very strongly that most companies charge far to much for the service of a web site - an average simple web site will cost you around £ 500 to set up and then £ 40 monthly to run (or host in web terms) your site. A full catalogue with on-line shopping will cost your into the Thousands.
